The Role of the FDA:
The FDA’s role is to set-up tests and recommend safety of drug related products on
the market. As an agency they are not in the medical business. As long as a drug is safe to
use then it is up to the discretion of the medical doctor to prescribe it for various situations
that they are “trained to understand and know the application for”. A medical doctor has the right by law to do as they see fit to handle a patient under their care and to handle the problems the patient is experiencing.
hCG has been used to treat many various health issues and has been and has been in
existence to do so for over 50 years by the medical community. However, the FDA has not
approved hCG Therapy to lose weight.
In regards to hCG this is the FDA’s Statement:
INDICATIONS AND USAGE: hCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or “normal” distribution of fat or that it decreases the hunger and
discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.
New Beginnings Medical Weight Loss Clinic is a licensed health care provider. Our doctors and medical staff directly prescribe all required tests and review and confirm all test results. We may also perform physical exams, consult with primary physicians, and validate and verify submitted medical information. All patient information will be protected under all HIPAA laws and regulations.
All patients are required to fulfill and follow all of the medical instructions and procedures prescribed by our staff and contact us immediately if they have any problems, questions, or concerns. Patients who are found to have submitted fraudulent information will be terminated from any program offered by New Beginnings Medical Weight Loss Clinic or any of its affiliates. Any medication prescribed is only for the use of the patient and is not to be transferred, distributed, modified, or used by any other party.
